ITRHFM 2026 Executive Officer Election

The International Towing & Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum will conduct its 2026 Executive Officer Election electronically, with results announced on October 18, 2026.

In accordance with the Museum’s Bylaws, eligible members who meet the established requirements may apply for an Executive Officer position. Current Executive Officers seeking election to another term must also submit a candidate application during the application period.

Candidate application period

• Form opens: September 2, 2026
• Form closes: September 16, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET

All applications will be reviewed to verify that applicants meet the eligibility requirements established by the Museum’s Bylaws. Applicants will be notified if additional information is needed to verify their eligibility.

Applications received after 11:59 p.m. ET on September 16, 2026 will not be considered.

Who may apply

To be eligible to seek an Executive Officer position, the candidate, or the company they represent, must be a member in good standing of the International Towing & Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum and must have served one full term on the ITRHFM Board of Directors. The qualifying Board term does not have to immediately precede the current election.

Candidates seeking the office of President must have served two full terms on the ITRHFM Board of Directors, including at least one term as an Executive Officer.

The Executive Officer positions included in the 2026 election are:

• President
• 1st Vice President
• 2nd Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer

The candidate application asks applicants to provide information about their prior service on the Museum’s Board of Directors so that eligibility can be verified.

Membership in the International Towing & Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum does not, by itself, establish eligibility to serve as an Executive Officer. The Museum will determine candidate eligibility in accordance with its current Bylaws and the requirements applicable to the position.

Voting information

After the candidate application period closes, the Museum will review and verify all applications and establish the final list of eligible candidates. Voting will be conducted electronically through ElectionBuddy.

• Voting opens: September 30, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. ET
• Voting closes: October 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET

Only members who meet the voting eligibility requirements established by the Museum’s Bylaws will be eligible to vote. For Board and Executive Officer elections, new memberships must have been in good standing for at least six months before election nominations begin.

Eligible voting members will receive a separate election notice, along with their electronic ballot and voting instructions through ElectionBuddy, when voting opens.

Election results

The results of the 2026 Executive Officer Election will be announced on October 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. ET at the Museum Weekend Breakfast, The Chattanoogan Hotel. Final results will also be posted on the Museum’s website following the election.
