Daniel J. Coady, Jr.

As midnight neared on March 13, 2018, Daniel Coady was working with the Massachusetts State Police on the side of a state highway to load a vehicle that had been involved in an accident. As Dan worked to perform his job, an intoxicated motorist left their lane and entered the shoulder striking an unoccupied vehicle. After this first impact, the car continued forward hitting Dan and his truck where he worked. Dan was severely injured and was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries. Dan leaves behind his wife and two children.
