Antonio Marazita

On the night of July 12, 2026, Antonio Marazita, an FDOT Road Ranger, was setting up a lane closure while assisting at a crash scene on the interstate. A driver whose blood alcohol content was roughly four times the legal limit approached the scene and failed to slow down and move over. That driver hit a Road Ranger truck, went between two other emergency vehicles and struck Antonio who died at the scene.
