Garry Leach

I have been involved in the towing and recovery industry since I purchased a brand-new tow truck when I was only seventeen years old. During my decades of service in the industry I have proudly served as a board member and President of The Towing Division of The Manitoba Automotive Trades Association, a director of The Western Canadian Business Association and as a regional director of The Alberta Towing & Recovery Association.

I am passionate about our industry, its history and forefathers and proudly own two antique wreckers along with an extensive collection of numerous artifacts that portray the past.

In 2016, I was honoured to be inducted into The Towing & Recovery Hall of Fame as Inductee #313 and presently serve on the museum committee for The Survivor Fund and Wall of the Fallen.

My passion for our industry has driven me to seek election to the Museum Board of Directors to assist and contribute to the on-going preservation of its history, the recognition of those who have excelled and continue to make it better and to honour those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of service.
