Willie J. Passmore, Jr.

On the morning of July 29, 2011, Willie Passmore was working on a trailer in the shop at the truck stop where he was employed.  While the truck’s driver was in the store paying, Willie completed a tire change on the heavy trailer.  The driver returned to his truck but did not notify Willie.  As the truck driver attempted to back out of the shop unassisted, Willie thought the trailer was rolling down the ramp.

Willie yelled for help and ran toward the truck but tripped. He fell and was run over by the driver whose door was open so he did not see Willie in the mirror.  Willie died at the scene leaving behind his wife and five children.
