Shawn Alan Bodiford

Shawn Bodiford was working the shoulder of the interstate on October 18,2022. Shawn was recovering an overturned commercial vehicle, and police had two lanes closed for his work. An approaching driver ignored slow down move over laws and the lane closures, entering the crash scene and striking a Highway Patrol vehicle.  The trooper’s vehicle spun and hit Shawn whose injuries were extensive, and he faced paralysis without surgery. The complications from Shawn’s injuries that day took his life April 13, 2025, leaving his wife behind.  We respectfully add Shawn Alan Bodiford to our “Wall of the Fallen”.
