Jak Gloria Pereira

Jak Pereira was working as a Road Ranger just before dawn on May 20, 2022.  Jak was on the side of the interstate assisting with an incident when he was struck by a speeding motorist whose vehicle hydroplaned in another lane causing a loss of control. Jak was transported to the trauma hospital and underwent numerous surgeries over the course of many weeks.  Jak fought for his life for forty-two days but succumbed to his injuries from the accident on July 1, 2022.  Jak leaves behind his wife and daughter.
