Eugene Jennings Willis III

Just after midnight on the morning of September 17, 2020, Jason Willis was working on the shoulder of the interstate preparing a vehicle for towing. An unknown vehicle was approaching the scene as Jason worked and as it got close to the vehicle(s) on the roadside, its driver crossed the white line and hit Jason. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and Jason succumbed to his injuries leaving behind a wife and two children.
