Edward Kammerer

Edward Kammerer was working in the wind, rain and darkness on the night after Christmas, responding to a scene where one driver had hit a power pole and another had gone into a ditch later as they swerved to avoid the downed pole. As Edward approached the vehicle he was to move, his lightbar caught an unseen low hanging wire that was still live. When Mr. Kammerer stepped from his vehicle, he died instantly from the electrocution, tragically leaving behind his wife, four children and nine grandchildren. We respectfully add Edward Kammerer to our “Wall of the Fallen”.
