Edgar Arthur Pilon

Early the night of December 27, 1954, Edgar Pilon was working to recover a vehicle that had been involved in an accident.  The police had called Edgar out to retrieve the car from a ditch.  As he worked on the recovery, he was positioned behind his truck.

An approaching motorist lost control in the slick and snowy conditions and hit Edgar.  The vehicle pinned Edgar against his tow truck and he died at the scene leaving behind his wife and four children.
