Corey L. Arnold

On the afternoon of June 29, 2017, Corey Arnold had just completed winching a commercial vehicle from the mud near some railroad tracks. The vehicle had made it up the embankment but Corey’s truck needed to be repositioned to get it onto the road surface. Corey positioned the truck over the railroad tracks for a quick finishing pull to get the vehicle out of its position. As he worked, the driver of the vehicle alerted him to an oncoming train on the tracks. That driver disconnected the winch line but Corey’s truck would not move. When the train impacted the tow truck, Corey was in the cab. Corey died at the scene leaving behind two children.
