John G. Rogers

Family: John Rogers was born on October 19, 1939 in Leicester, England. He is married to Louise Law and they have three children: Shirley Ann Green, Jeanette Rogers and Jonathan Rogers.
History: John’s father, George Rogers, started Unity Garage at its present location in the mid-twenties. He was a pioneer in the industry in England. John has worked there since he was old enough to drive. He and a handful of dedicated recovery men started Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators in 1977. In 1984 he, along with five friends from other countries, founded Friends of Towing. He is one of its eight sponsors. Every industry function in Great Britain has had John G. Rogers in the forefront for guidance and inspiration. He enjoys the respect, honor and friendship of all recovery people throughout the world. He is a leader and a gentlemen.

Innovation of a product sold in the marketplace that has helped move the industry forward. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of service to the industry.
Exemplary Dedication
Candidate must have 20 years running a towing business in an outstanding and exemplary manner, promoting a positive image of the towing industry and have positive relations with the community, i.e., performing services for the community about and beyond the services for hire. Limit: One inductee per year.
Industry Leadership
Leadership involved with an outstanding project that has had a dynamic and lasting effect on the towing industry. Candidate must have minimum 10 years service to the towing industry.
Professional Achievement
Creating a product or service of any kind that has had a significant and lasting effect on thousands of towing professionals. Candidate Must have a minimum of 10 years to the industry.
