Joseph Pedigo

In the 1980’s, Joe Pedigo found himself leading a successful state towing association, the Professional Towing & Recovery Association of Illinois.  That’s where he learned the ropes of the legislative world, writing legislation supportive of Illinois towers while battling against opposing legislation.  His victories included helping establish commercial relocation ordinances for Bloomington, Normal, and several other Illinois towns.  In the early 2000’s, the national towing association, TRAA, recruited Joe as part of its legislative team.  Having been a TRAA member for many years, Joe was delighted to help on a national level and has been serving the towing and recovery industry’s interests on a national level ever since.  He is a PTROI past president, TRAA third vice president, and an active part of both associations’ legislative teams.  In addition, Joe assists other associations with their legislative efforts.  He also serves as Treasurer of the Board for ABC Consulting Services in Bloomington.  His company, Joe’s Towing & Recovery, has participated in the T.O.W.E.D. program with the goal of reducing drunk driving accidents and injuries.
