Jack’s dedication to his community is evident in his involvement with various local organizations, including the Towing & Recovery Association of Alberta, the Lions Club, and the Humane Society. His tireless efforts have earned him a reputation as a respected and compassionate leader, always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether supporting local sports teams, such as the Calgary Stampede football club and the Calgary Flames Hockey Team, or hosting charity events, like the large BBQ and breakfast he built in honor of the Calgary Stampede, Jack has consistently demonstrated his commitment to giving back to his community.
Throughout his illustrious career, Jack has passionately worked towards the betterment of the towing industry, dedicating his life’s work to advancing professionalism and safety. In the early 1990s, he collaborated with the Alberta Motor Association to introduce Wreckmaster classes to Alberta, a move that significantly raised the bar for towing operators in the province. His tireless efforts have not only improved the industry’s standards but have also inspired a new generation of towing professionals.
One of Jack’s most notable achievements was his instrumental role in saving the Bearspaw Golf Club from receivership in 1985. His business acumen, combined with his unwavering commitment to the community, helped revitalize the club, ensuring its continued success. This remarkable feat serves as a testament to Jack’s exceptional leadership and vision.

Innovation of a product sold in the marketplace that has helped move the industry forward. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of service to the industry.
Exemplary Dedication
Candidate must have 20 years running a towing business in an outstanding and exemplary manner, promoting a positive image of the towing industry and have positive relations with the community, i.e., performing services for the community about and beyond the services for hire. Limit: One inductee per year.
Industry Leadership
Leadership involved with an outstanding project that has had a dynamic and lasting effect on the towing industry. Candidate must have minimum 10 years service to the towing industry.
Professional Achievement
Creating a product or service of any kind that has had a significant and lasting effect on thousands of towing professionals. Candidate Must have a minimum of 10 years to the industry.
