Raymond Lewis Mitchell

On the morning of September 22, 2021, Raymond Mitchell was working on the interstate shoulder assisting stranded motorist.  An approaching log truck driver moved to the lane closest to the shoulder but tried to slow due to a car slowing quickly in front of him.  As the truck slowed, its trailer slid to the right and struck Raymond as he operated the controls on his tow truck.  Raymond died at the scene leaving behind his wife and four children.
