Roque Don Stillwater Pittard

In the early morning hours of July 30, 2020, Roque Pittard was assisting a stranded motorist on the shoulder of the interstate. As he worked, a commercial truck approached pulling two bottom dump trailers. The truck moved from its lane over the shoulder and struck the tow truck. The tow truck in turn struck both Roque and his customer, killing both of them at the scene.
