William “Will” Ellis

Will Ellis went to a bridge in South Carolina to assist a stranded motorist on the morning of July 1, 2020. While on-site, and accompanied by a deputy from the Highway Patrol, a truck approached the scene and crashed into the deputy’s car. As the accident occurred, Will ended up going over the side of the bridge into the water. Crews searched the waters and found Will’s body on July 3. Will leaves behind three children
