Macy Lee Alvey, III

Macy Alvey was assisting a disabled truck on the side of the interstate on the morning of March 2, 2017. During his work he was standing on the driver’s side of the vehicle when it was sideswiped by an SUV operated by a woman suspected to be impaired and whose driver’s license was suspended. The SUV impacted the disabled vehicle, the tow truck and Mr. Alvey before causing further accident damage and injuries to an additional vehicle and its occupant. Macy Alvey died at the scene leaving behind his wife and two children.
