William Casie Allen

On the winter weather morning of October 25, 2020, Casie Allen and his co-worker, Nick Visser, were working to recover a vehicle that had crashed on the interstate.  A tractor trailer approached the scene and clearly saw the accident scene.  That driver slowed down but the pickup and trailer combination behind it did not notice the braking.  When the pickup driver realized the truck was slowing, the pickup left its lane to avoid hitting the tractor trailer.  Leaving its lane avoided the big rig but caused the pickup to crash into the two men working on the roadside.  They both died at the scene.
