Jesse K. Hettmann

In the early afternoon of January 11, 2019, Jesse Hettmann was working to pickup a boom truck that had lost a drive wheel on the interstate. Jesse was using a large block of wood while chaining up the remaining dual and axle. During his work the block became dislodged and slid into the middle of the roadway. Jesse stepped out to grab the block and an approaching vehicle tried to swerve around Jesse.

Unfortunately, the vehicle and Jesse both went in the same direction to avoid a collision with one another and the vehicle hit Jesse in the roadway. Jesse died at the scene and leaves behind his wife and two children.
