Marci Gratzianna
Born to a towing family, Marci has spent almost 40 years in the industry. Marci is co-owner of O’Hare Towing Service, along with her husband Bill Gratzianna. The company was launched in 2001, but she has been part of the towing and recovery community in Illinois, regionally and nationally, since the 1980s. She grew up watching her mother, Mary K. Cooper, run the family towing business in Chicago. Mary Cooper was selected for the Towing Hall of Fame in 1999, making Marci the second generation and the second woman in her family to be honored. At age 17 Marci started working with her mother at Cooper’s Towing.
Marci, has held leadership roles in multiple towing associations including Professional Towing & Recovery Operators of Illinois (PTROT), TRAA, and WTRAA. As a TRAA Education Foundation member, she helped produce two safety videos for tow operators. She has received the WTRAA Tow Woman of the Year Award it highest award and TRAA Distinguished Service Award in addition to recognition from PTROI and the TRAA Education Foundation,
In 2008 – 2009, she costarred in the television show “Wrecked: Life in the Crash Lane” helping to educate the public on the dangers towing professionals face daily. Marci also is a champion of the Museum’s working to preserve and promote the industry and its history.

Innovation of a product sold in the marketplace that has helped move the industry forward. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of service to the industry.
Exemplary Dedication
Candidate must have 20 years running a towing business in an outstanding and exemplary manner, promoting a positive image of the towing industry and have positive relations with the community, i.e., performing services for the community about and beyond the services for hire. Limit: One inductee per year.
Industry Leadership
Leadership involved with an outstanding project that has had a dynamic and lasting effect on the towing industry. Candidate must have minimum 10 years service to the towing industry.
Professional Achievement
Creating a product or service of any kind that has had a significant and lasting effect on thousands of towing professionals. Candidate Must have a minimum of 10 years to the industry.
