M. Dennis Jones

A native of the northwest, Denny and his wife Shirley have raised 6 children and presently have 17 grandchildren. Since Denny has traveled extensively throughout the United States assisting others in the industry, he enjoys many friends throughout the country. Denny entered the towing and recovery industry through his service station operation which he opened in 1961. While his towing and recovery business has grown, Denny has also been quick to give back to both his industry and community. He is a charter member of TRAA and served as its Idaho Director for 20 years. He was also one of the founders of the Idaho Towing and Recovery Professional Association, serving as President three terms and District Representative “many times”. Denny is a long time member of Friends of Towing and ITA and has actively supported state association functions in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, California, Montana and beyond.
In the community, Denny was recognized as the Chubbuck Idaho Business Man of the Year in 1993. He has been on the Chubbuck Fire Department for 20 years, serving as Chief ten of those years. Denny has been active in the local Lions Club for 37 years, serving as President 2 years. He has also aggressively supported the Lion Eye Program. As an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, Denny is always quick to respond to local needs, in addition to his national endeavors, thus more than qualifying him as a member of the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame.

Tow Equipment/Product Innovation
Innovation of a product sold in the marketplace that has helped move the industry forward. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of service to the industry.
Exemplary Dedication
Candidate must have 20 years running a towing business in an outstanding and exemplary manner, promoting a positive image of the towing industry and have positive relations with the community, i.e., performing services for the community about and beyond the services for hire. Limit: One inductee per year.
Industry Leadership
Leadership involved with an outstanding project that has had a dynamic and lasting effect on the towing industry. Candidate must have minimum 10 years service to the towing industry.
Professional Achievement
Creating a product or service of any kind that has had a significant and lasting effect on thousands of towing professionals. Candidate Must have a minimum of 10 years to the industry.
