Jean Jacques Julien, married to wife Danielle for 20 years and has two children. A daughter Julie, 20 and a son Dylan 22.
Jean began his career in 1970. After training period as mechanic and serving his military obligation in an Infantry Vehicle Division where he became a Heavy Duty Vehicle Towing Specialist, he returned to Paris where he was employed by a leading company for several years.
In 1979, Jean decided to start up his own business, DEPANN 2000, with one vehicle operating on a 24 hour basis.
From the beginning Jean was successful and very innovative. He pioneered the use of a small recovery vehicle for use in Paris when traffic is congested and large units were impractical. This type unit is now used by all companies in Paris.
In less than 20 years, DEPANN 2000 has four branches circling Paris, operates over 100 vehicles and employs more than 100 people.
DEPANN 2000 operates a fleet of specially equipped motorbikes for average no-starts and breakdowns and repair 95% of these disabled vehicles on the spot.
Jean gives his people the credit for his success. He has programs in place that recognize outstanding employees, and also incentive programs that reward them financially.
Jean is totally dedicated to the towing and recovery industry. He is a founder of the French Towing Union. He has set up the first towing and recovery meets and trade shows in France.

Innovation of a product sold in the marketplace that has helped move the industry forward. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of service to the industry.
Exemplary Dedication
Candidate must have 20 years running a towing business in an outstanding and exemplary manner, promoting a positive image of the towing industry and have positive relations with the community, i.e., performing services for the community about and beyond the services for hire. Limit: One inductee per year.
Industry Leadership
Leadership involved with an outstanding project that has had a dynamic and lasting effect on the towing industry. Candidate must have minimum 10 years service to the towing industry.
Professional Achievement
Creating a product or service of any kind that has had a significant and lasting effect on thousands of towing professionals. Candidate Must have a minimum of 10 years to the industry.
