Donald L. Rolling
Don traces his path into the towing industry automotive service that began, in 1964. He: bought his first tow truck in 1969 and began to build a towing operation that eventually far overshadowed his other business interest. In 1975 don purchased several acres of land where he went on to build his present terminal. Today Don’s Towing Service is a highly professional operation that is exclusively dedicated to providing towing and recovery services for light, medium and heavy duty applications.
Don Rolling has been an active member of the Wisconsin Towing Association since 1971; has served on it’s Board of Directors since 1980 and is the present Chairman of the Board. Don also serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Motor Carriers, representing the towing industry. He has been active in TRAA since 1985 and in Friends of Towing since 1987 where he serves as both a Trustee and Chairman of the Transportation Committee. Don is especially concerned with the image of the towing industry and the average tower. He recognizes that towers usually meet their customers under the most difficult circumstances and Don seeks to find ways to change the “bad image” that seems to dominate the public’s opinion of the industry. To this end Don Rolling is active in State, National and International affairs affecting the towing industry and is always ready to speak out on behalf of our industry.
Don believes in professionalism to such an extent that he once chartered a plane to fly a number of his employee to a training session out of state. Likewise, his equipment is modern, clean and well maintained as he seeks to set a positive example for the public to see and competitors to follow. Today, Don spends almost as much time working for his industry as he does in his own business, and we all benefit through is effort.
